Defending champions Bayern Munich returned to victory with a 4-0 rout of Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena in the matchday 10 of the Bundesliga 2022/23 season.

Bayern has been without a win in the league for 4 consecutive matchdays, and the upset loss to Augsburg in the last matchday has caused many people to speculate that Julian Nagelsmann's head coaching position may not be guaranteed. In the first half, Musiala assisted Sané to score and achieve an early dream start. After that, Müller assisted Musiala to score from a difficult angle. Later, Musiala's pass resulted in a assist, as Mané made a long shot after stopping the ball to expand the lead. At the end of the second half, Hrádecký made a fatal error in his own penalty area while making a clearance, and Müller easily stole the ball and slotted it into the net to ensure his side will seal the victory with a big score. In the end, Bayern Munich beat Leverkusen 4-0 and earned their first 3 points after 4 winless matchdays. With this victory, Bayern, who had played a game more, temporarily rose to the second place in the standings with 15 points; Leverkusen, who had been hard to find a victory in the league all month, temporarily ranked 16th in the relegation zone with 5 points.
