◤FIFA World Cup in Qatar◢ Arsenal confirms Brazil international center forward Gabriel Jesus has successfully undergone right knee surgery and will be out of action for 3 months..

Arsenal announced on the official website on Tuesday that Brazil international center forward Gabriel Jesus has successfully undergone his right knee surgery. In the future, he will fully cooperate with the rehabilitation process and will be out of action for 3 months.

Arsenal said in an official statement that Jesus had returned to London and successfully undergone his operation while being accompanied by the club's team doctor. After this, the club's team doctor will work with him on the rehabilitation process to help him recover and get back on the the pitch as soon as possible.

On the 2nd of this month, Jesus unfortunately injured his right knee in the second half of Brazil's upset loss to Cameroon in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar final Group G group stage match and was replaced in the second half. Afterwards, due to serious injury assessment, it was reported that he might be out of the season.

In this edition of World Cup, Jesus played in all three group stage matches for Brazil, but failed to score or assist.

The 25-year-old Jesus has been in a scintillating goalscoring form after joining Arsenal as a free agent during the summer transfer window this season, becoming one of the biggest contributors to their emergence as the Premier League leader.

So far, Jesus has played 20 times for the Gunners in all competitions this season, scoring 5 goals and assisting 7 times. His absence is bound to have a great impact on Arsenal.
