Who is a fan of Indonesian football who doesn't know the Indonesian national team player, Egy Maulana Vikri? He is currently pursuing a career at a Slovak league club, FK Senica. Not just setting foot on the Blue Continent, Egy has also succeeded in proving his capacity as a high-quality player.

The Transfermarkt page as of Friday (12/11) noted that Egy has appeared in 10 matches with FK Senicadi in all competitions. Although he appears more often as a substitute, he records statistics that cannot be taken lightly.

The 21-year-old has recorded four assists, three of which came from two Slovnaft Cup games. Compared to other players, Egy's performance is quite impressive.

He has made 104 passes, while his team-mate Elvis Mashike has 271. At first glance the note seems lame. However, if you look at the duration of Mashike's play which is more than 1,157 minutes, of course Egy is not too far away.

The reason is, Egy is listed as the second ranked player with successful passes in his team. In the official Fortuna Liga record, his teammate named Christopher Goslin recorded 83.1 percent, while Egy 77.9 percent. Then there is Mashike 73.8 percent, then in fourth and fifth place there are Twardek (73.1 percent), and Niarchos (70.4 percent).

In every match, Egy's performance tends to find stability. After being impressive in the first and second matches, Egy's performance had declined in the next three matches. This is evident from the percentage of Egy's pass success which is only 61.5 percent, down to 50 percent, and back up to 72.4 percent.

His passing statistics continued to improve in the sixth match against MFK Ruzomberok and Spartak Trnava. Egy at least recorded the percentage of successful passes reaching 87 percent and 80 percent.

Skilled in the field, Egy's charm also affects the popularity of the club he is defending. When FK Senica recruited him on August 31, the Indonesian mass media reported on it in droves. This also had an effect on FK Senica's social media accounts.

FK Senica's upload on Instagram announcing the arrival of Egy was immediately overrun by more than 40 thousand likes with four thousand comments. Not only that, the number of followers on Instagram accounts has also increased dramatically to double. As of August 31, the number of followers was only 20.9 thousand. The next day, that number increased to 46.8 thousand. As of Thursday (12/11), the figure has touched 97.2 thousand.

That's just Instagram, what about other social media accounts?

Aware of the increasingly massive dynamics of the digital world, the management of FK Senica made a breakthrough so that the team would be known to the wider community. They use the YouTube channel as one of the team's publication media with the target audience from Indonesia.

The results are amazing. Their uploaded videos before Egy's arrival were only watched hundreds of times on average. But since Egy set foot there, almost all uploaded videos have been watched tens of thousands of times.

Moreover, the video that contains Egy's face, almost certainly has a huge audience. In addition to the number of viewers, the comments column on the YouTube channel was also flooded with thousands of Indonesian words that sent support for Egy.

This is an indication that Indonesia has citizens who are loyal to the name of the nation brought by Indonesian athletes. Egy Maulana Vikri is one proof of how much to be proud of from his native country.
