MILAN - AC Milan turns out to be the most well-known Italian football club in America and China. This is based on a survey conducted by The YouGov, based on six indicators, including fan perception, tradition, quality of football and achievements.

Quoted from Football-Italy, Wednesday (24/3), Milan's performance increased sharply compared to last year, from 1.9 to 6.1, placing them in eighth place in the United States. The most popular clubs still in charge in the US are Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Milan's position in China is also getting stronger, lifting 14.9, third behind Real Madrid and Barcelona. In Italy alone, the popularity of Stefano Pioli's side has skyrocketed compared to last year, from 7.3 to 22.5, second only to Juventus, who fell from 33.8 to 30.4.

Inter, who are at the top of the Serie A standings, are in third place as the most popular club in Italy with a rating of 18.1. Milan was at the top of the Serie A standings, before being shifted by Inter Milan.

But the Rossonerri still have a chance to win, as they are only six points away from Inter, even though the Nerazzurri have a game advantage.
