PSG won positive results in the second week of Ligue 1.

PARIS -- Paris Saint Germain (PSG) won a positive result in the second week of Ligue 1 when they beat Strasbourg 4-2, at the Parc des Prince Stadium, Sunday (15/8) early morning WIB. PSG dictated the game throughout the game.


Prior to the match, PSG officially introduced their new signings namely Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Gini Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi. However, only Wijnaldum and Hakimi made their debuts in that match.




PSG were already 1-0 up when the game had only been running for three minutes through Mauro Icardi's header. The former Inter Milan striker welcomed Diallo's cross from the left wing well. But their hopes of an equalizer became even more severe when Djiku got a red card after getting two yellow cards. Superior in the number of players, PSG also scored a goal through Pablo Sarabia to bring PSG ahead 4-2 in the 86th minute. The goal was also the closing goal in the match.
