CATALAN - Ansu Fati's agent has reportedly arrived in Barcelona with a view to securing a new long-term deal for his client, Sportsmole reported on Thursday (14/10).
The Catalan giants will reportedly soon announce that they have agreed a new five-year contract with Pedro, while talks are also ongoing with Ousmane Dembele, Gavi and Ronald Araujo.
Fati's future is also high on the club's priority list, as the Spain international's current contract expires at the end of the season, although the agreement could be extended for another two years.
According to Marca, Jorge Mendes, who represents the 18-year-old, has flown to Barcelona and will hold talks with the La Liga club in the coming days.
The report claims Fati is determined to sign a new contract with Ronald Koeman's side despite suggestions that clubs like Manchester United are interested in signing him.
The teenager, who has just returned from a long-term knee injury, has scored 14 times and registered five assists in 46 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions.
