Arsenal don't want to bring Serge Gnabry back
7/6/2022, 09:11LONDON - Arsenal reportedly do not want to sign Bayern Munich's Serge Gnabry. Previously, the player who had defended Arsenal until 2017 appeared to enliven the transfer market this summer.
The winger scored once for the Gunners in 18 appearances for the club. Before he finally left for Bayern in 2017.
After moving to the Bundesliga, Gnabry continued to shine until he finally won four league titles and one Champions League trophy. Unfortunately, Gnabry's contract entered his final year with the club.
This has led to rumors that Gnabry will return to the Premier League. Manchester City are reportedly ready to sign Gnabry if Raheem Sterling leaves.
Meanwhile, Manchester United and Liverpool have also shown interest in Gnabry. Even the former club, Arsenal was allegedly wanted to bring him back to England.
Unfortunately, transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano reports the Gunners are not interested in signing him back. Romano said Ganbry's name was not on Arsenal's list.
"Understood why Arsenal didn't want to bring Serge Gnabry. He's not on the list and Arsenal are now focused on different targets," Romano said as quoted by the Sportsmole page.
The report states that Bayern Munich's new contract offer is still valid. However, this German player has not made any decisions.
"Gnabry has an offer to extend his contract with Bayern, but no decision has been made by the player," Romano said.
During his time for Bayern Munich, Gnabry has scored 64 goals in 171 appearances.
