Arsenal Resmi Datangkan Aaron Ramsdale

This transfer is believed to make Leno's position in goal shaky.

LONDON - Arsenal have finally signed Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on a long-term contract. Quoted from Sky Sports , Saturday (21/8), his transfer fee could rise to 30 million pounds plus an extra, depending on whether Ramsdale becomes the Gunners' long-term goalkeeper.

Ramsdale has been on boss Mikel Arteta's radar this summer, having initially joined Sheffield United from Bournemouth in 2020. Bournemouth are entitled to 15 per cent of the sale which is in excess of £19m. The arrival of the 23-year-old is likely to see reserve goalkeeper Alex Runarsson allowed to leave the club.

Ramsdale, who were capped at U18 to U21 level by England, rejoined Sheffield United last summer in a £18.5m deal from relegated Bournemouth. He was Sheffield United's player of the year last season, although his side were relegated last season and the same happened in his final season at Bournemouth in 2019/20.

Ramsdale was part of England's Euro 2020 squad that reached the final. But has yet to make his full international debut. The purchase of the Ramsdale is linked to Bernd Leno's uncertain future. The German goalkeeper is entering the final year of his contract next season and earlier this year he wanted a new challenge from the club.
