LONDON - Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has hinted that the club will have some new faces ahead of their pre-season trip to the US this week.

The Gunners will fly to Florida on Wednesday as they step up their pre-season preparations after training camp in Scotland, where they play friendlies against Hibernian and Rangers.

Benfica full-back Nuno Tavares - who scored in the second game - is the club's only signing so far this summer, but deals have been agreed for the signings of Ben White from Brighton and Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht.

White is currently on holiday, having been part of the England squad that reached the final of Euro 2020 last weekend, but Lokonga could be with the group in time for the trip to the United States.

"Now it's a bit of a recovery," said Arteta after the 2-2 draw with Rangers.

"We trained really hard, played two games, and now we will travel to America next week," he said.

"We didn't have any really positive injuries in the first week. We'll have some new faces that might come along, so it's very positive," explained Arteta.
