The Portland Trail Blazers announced today that they will sign forward Reggie Perry to a 10-day short-term contract to fill the bench.

The 22-year-old forward was drafted 57th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the 2020 draft, before being traded to the Brooklyn Nets in mid-November of the same year and converted to a two-way contract in December. However, he joined the Toronto Raptors in September after his contract with the Nets ended last year, and was officially fired by the Raptors on October 13.

Perry signed his first 10-day short-term contract with the Blazers on Dec. Perry played 2 games for the Blazers this season, averaging 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1 assist and 0.5 steals in 20.5 minutes while shooting 44.4 percent from the field.

He signed a short-term contract with the Indiana Pacers on February 4 this year, and only played 1 game and scored 2 points in 10 minutes. Perry signed a short-term contract with the Blazers today to get back on the court and is expected to make an appearance in Thursday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
