This is the second consecutive win for Borneo FC.

BANDUNG -- Borneo FC secured full points from Persela Lamongan after winning 2-0 at Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul, Yogyakarta, Tuesday (23/11). This is a win in a row for the second time for Borneo.

Persela extended the negative trend by losing in three consecutive matches. Persela appear without the support of Ivan Carlos who is still injured. Persela coach, Iwan Setiawan, even made a big rotation by keeping Jabar Sharza in the front position.

Meanwhile, Borneo FC has not made many changes. Borneo coach, Risto Vidakovic, continues to entrust the front line to the team's champion striker, Francisco Torres.

Persela first received pressure from Borneo FC. Since the beginning of the match, the rhythm of the match went slowly because Persela was waiting more.

Persela, who relied on counterattacks, was overwhelmed by Borneo's attacks. 22 minutes, Sandy Ferizal made a blunder with a handball right in front of the goal. The referee also awarded a penalty for Borneo FC.

Francisco Torres, who served as the executioner, managed to easily break into Dwi Kuswanto's goal. Borneo FC won 1-0 over Persela.

The first half ended with the score 1-0 over Borneo FC.

The second half, Persela tried to change the tactics of the game by lowering Gian Zola. The result did not disappoint, Zola had a golden opportunity that was still next to the goal in the 50th minute.

The rhythm of the match became faster after Bustos' hard kick could still be anticipated by Dwi Kuswanto. 58 minutes, Persela's goal was disallowed because it was considered to be outside the white line of goal.

73 minutes, Borneo FC actually added a goal after Terens Puhiri managed to escape the offside trap and execute the ball. This makes Borneo's advantage increase to 2-0.

Behind two goals did not make Persela discouraged. Two minutes later, Malik's kick could still be blocked by Gianluca.

The referee gives three minutes of added time. Unfortunately, Persela could not score after a golden opportunity wasted in extra time.
