Brentford's unbeaten run is 'insane', says manager Frank

Brentford boss Thomas Frank described his side's 10-match unbeaten run in the Premier League as insane after Saturday's 1-1 draw with leaders Arsenal , leaving them eighth .

Ivan Toney's header equalized to ensure Brentford 's return to London could have turned into three points had their strikes been more composed .

That leaves Brentford five points behind fifth-placed Tottenham with a game in hand , and the European boost in their second Premier League season cannot be ignored.

" We're very focused on the next game (home to Crystal Palace next Saturday) and it's very important, " Frank told reporters.

" But it's crazy to go 10 games unbeaten when our budget is second in the Premier League .

wonderful performance

Brentford's last league defeat was a crushing 4-0 defeat at Aston Villa on October 23 , but they have since beaten Manchester City and Liverpool and drawn draws with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal Team.

It would not be unreasonable if Brentford win on Saturday, especially as Toni and Rico Henry squandered valuable chances in a brilliant first-half display.

" We can't celebrate a point because of course we wanted to win, but we can celebrate the performance and it was one of the best, " Frank said.

" I think we could have won the game. If you look at the huge chances in the game, we could have won. "
