Cassano asks Juve, Inter and AC Milan to be kicked out of Serie A
4/28/2021, 08:12 ROME - AntonioCassana values Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan, worthy of being excluded from the Italian Serie A League. The three clubs are included in the 12 European Super League clubs which have received criticism from various parties.
However, the three clubs emphasized that they still want to participate in Serie A, even though they have joined a new competition.
`` It's impossible to think of this kind of competition. Big clubs must understand that football belongs to everyone, '' Cassano said as quoted from Football-Italy , Tuesday (20/4).
According to the former Italian national team, big clubs cannot leave small clubs. Therefore, Cassano stated that the three Serie A giants must be expelled from Serie A because of his selfishness. He stated that 12 clubs were not allowed to regulate football.
"I will ask the FIGC to exclude Inter, Milan and Juventus from Serie A. Let them play in their own league, and see what happens," said Cassano.
The European Super League, led by Real Madrid President Florentino Perez, has also come under fire from various parties. In fact, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin stated that players involved in this Super League will be banned from appearing from international competitions.
