Chelsea Want Sassuolo Striker
7/22/2021, 04:08LONDON - Premier League club Chelsea have expressed interest in Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi. Sport Italia reports that the Blues have inquired about Berardi's availability. But the Blues are not alone considering Borussia Dortmund and West Ham are also attracted by the Italian star.
Reports last week claimed the Stamford Bridge-based side had failed with a £85m bid to sign Federico Chiesa. Juventus do not want to open talks about the winger they just signed last summer.
But recent reports from Italy now claim the Champions League winners have shifted their focus to Chiesa's international team-mate Berardi, who has two years remaining on his Sassuolo contract.
Berardi scored 17 goals and added eight assists in 30 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo last season.
