Conte's message to Inter players: Don't underestimate Udinese
1/25/2021, 09:01UDINE - The euphoria of silencing Juventus 2-0 in the 18th giornata of the Italian League Serie A at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on Monday (18/1) in the morning WIB, has passed. Furthermore, Inter Milan travel to the Udine headquarters in the continuation of the Italian realm of the most elite competition.
The duel took place at the Friuli Stadium, Sunday (24/1) in the morning WIB. Ahead of the meeting, Conte showed respect for the hosts.
He considered the Le Zebrette squad to have a physical advantage. The gameplay of Luca Gotti's polished team is very structured with clear identities.
"We must not underestimate them. We need to prepare for this match, as best we can," Conte said in a press conference, quoted by Football Italia, Saturday (23/1).
He watched Udinese's match against Atalanta. According to him, I Friulani has the capacity to get any opponent into trouble.
However, the host has not actually come out of the negative period. Kevin Lasagna and his colleagues have never won in the last eight matches in the Serie A.
However, Conte was reluctant to be complacent about these records. For him, Le Zebrette remains dangerous.
He wants Romelu Lukaku cs to maintain the standard of the game like when he immersed Juventus. A situation that could boost the Nerazzurri's confidence.
"A game like that should give us the enthusiasm we need, and help us work even harder," said Conte.
Inter Milan are in second place in the Serie A standings. With 40 points, Inter are three points behind AC Milan on the throne.
The scudetto hunt heats up. AS Roma, Napoli, Juve and Atalanta are also involved in the competition at the top. This season the Italian league is considered to be more competitive than previous years, in the last decade.
