BANDUNG -- Bhayangkara FC's chance to win the 2021/2022 League 1 season is gone. This was after the Guardian was overthrown by Persipura Jayapura 1-2. Ramiro Fergonzi's penalty goal and Ricky Chawor's goal were only able to be answered once by Anderson Salles before the match ended at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Wednesday (16/3/2022). Bhayangkara FC played with 10 men throughout the second half after losing Jajang Mulyana just before the end of the first half.

Bhayangkara FC, which collects 59 points, is 10 points adrift of Bali United at the top with three games remaining. It is impossible for Paul Munster's team to catch up with Bali United.
