MANCHESTER -- Like Manchester United's winger, Diogo Dalot feels he has just had a satisfying moment. This is related to his adventures in the Portugal national team.

He was part of the Selecao das Quinas at the 2020 European Cup. Unfortunately, Fernando Santos' team failed to defend the title. The steps of Dalot and his colleagues were stopped in the round of 16. They couldn't get past the Belgian barrier.

He also defended the Portugal U-21 team at the 2021 European championship. The event took place from May 31 to June 6. Dalot et al advanced to the final. In the final, the Esperancas squad lost 0-1 to Germany.

"The tournament was fantastic. We deserved to win, in the end we were not able to (win the title)," said the 22-year-old footballer.
