MILAN -- Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries is excited about the bigmatch in sight. His team will meet Juventus in the ninth giornata of the Italian Serie A Liga season 2021/22 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, Milan, Monday (25/10) early morning WIB. Dumfries is looking forward to this grande partita.

"A historic match between two great clubs," the Dutch right-back told Sport Mediaset , quoted by Football Italia , Saturday (23/10).

According to him, the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri are the two biggest teams in the Spaniards. He focused on preparing himself for the prestigious party. He predicts the duel will run at a very high level.

Dumfries is a new player for La Beneamata. He was present as the successor of Achraf Hakimi. Previously, Hakimi was an important pillar in the Blue-Black squad. The Moroccan full-back has joined Paris Saint Germain. Throughout last season, he scored seven goals and provided 10 assists as he helped Inter win the Serie A scudetto.

Dumfries admitted that he did not feel pressure to replace Hakimi. "Every player has a different moment," he said. The former PSV Eindhoven wants to make his own history with Inter.

"He had a great season. He did a good job, but now it's my turn," said the Dutch national team player.

Dumfries need time to adapt. He did not deny that there is a new atmosphere that must be learned, not only at the football level, but also in everyday life.
