JAKARTA -- Arema FCE coach, Duardo Almeida, said he was satisfied with the 2-0 victory over Persiraja Banda Aceh in the 12021/2022 League continuation match at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Saturday (23/10) night WIB. Eduardo assessed that his team had struggled well to secure full points.

The additional three points made Arema move up to fourth in the standings.

"It was a good game for us and we deserved to win. Congratulations to the players, we managed to win again, all worked well for this win," said Eduardo in a virtual press conference after the game, Saturday (23/10).

Arema goals were created by Muhammad Rafli and Carlos Fortes, respectively. The first goal by Rafli was created quickly in the fourth minute of the match from a free kick situation. "It's good for him to score goals and of course it's also good for the team," said Eduardo.

While the second goal created by Fortes added to his record in the list of top scorers this season. Fortes has so far collected five goals, equal to that of Persija Jakarta striker Marko Simic.

In first place is Bali United striker Ilija Spasojevic with seven goals. Followed by Ezechiel N'Douassel (Bhayangkara), Paulo Santos (Persiraja Banda Aceh), and Youssef Ezzejjari (Persik Kediri) with the same number, six goals.
