Fabrizio Romano refuted MARCA

Sky Sports' renowned Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano released a video through his official YouTube channel on Thursday, refuting the rumour which claimed that Borussia Dortmund's England international wonderkid midfielder Jude Bellingham has had his heart set on joining Real Madrid.

According to reports, Romano said Bellingham had not made any plan for a future transfer at all, so any rumours which clamed that he has decided to join any club are fake.

Romano added that Borussia Dortmund had not formally started negotiations with any club over the transfer of Bellingham. In fact, they want to wait until after the FIFA World Cup in Qatar to formally set a price on Bellingham, as BVB know the 19 year-old former Birmingham City star's performance in this upcoming World Cup will influence his final price tag.

Romano also frankly said that in the coming days until next summer, everyone must be mentally prepared to be bombarded by all the media around the world with Bellingham's transfer rumours which will be covered on all sports news pages literally every single minute, and Bellingham's transfer saga will resemble the chaos that ex-teammate Erling Håland caused when all the big clubs across Europe joined the battle for his signature back then.

The one who may be benefitted the most could be "them" from the Premier League

In addition, Romano also said that it is reported that Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are also ready to join the battle, but judging from the current situation, he suggested that Liverpool may be the winner in the battle for Bellingham's signature.

Romano revealed that since Liverpool failed to persuade Aurélien Tchouaméni to abandon Los Blancos and switch to them instead this summer, and that they have only loaned in Arthur, technically after saving a lot of money, they will go all out to sign Bellingham next summer.

At the same time, German publication BILD also made a follow-up report, saying that since Dortmund also intends to sign Guinea international midfielder Naby Keïta from Liverpool, Bellingham will play a huge pivotal role as an important pawn in this two-way transfer.

According to the report, the Premier League giants is likely to have favourable conditions in Bellingham's transfer battle because of this related transfer, as the Reds may be able to receive a huge discount from the other party in terms of the price tag seeing that they both would have what each other needs.

The one who spread the rumour intentionally created chaos

A few days ago, according to a report from Spanish outlet MARCA, which is known to be the mouthpiece of Real Madrid, Bellingham has decided to join Los Blancos for €160million euros, forming a trio of youth sensation along with fellow highly-rated French international midfielders Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga. It was also claimed that club president Florentino Perez also regards Bellingham as the replacement that the club must have for the aging duo in Luka Modrić and Tony Kroos as well as the vacancy left by Casemiro's departure.

Jude Bellingham, who is only 19 years old, has grown into one of the best midfielders in the world today, and was recently voted the Man of the Match in England's 3-3 draw with Germany in the UEFA Nations League.

This season, Bellingham has played 10 times in all competitions for Dortmund, scoring 3 goals, and his average rating in the Bundesliga has never been lower than 8.0.
