Fierce Scudetto Competition, Ancelotti Supports AC Milan to Win
4/27/2022, 04:04MADRID -- AC Milan received moral support from Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti. He hopes that the Rossoneri will come out as champions of the Italian 2021/2022 Serie ALiga. Ancelotti assesses the hunt for this year's Scudetto is fairly interesting.
"Of course I continue to follow Italian football , and this is the type of title race that we haven't seen in a long time," said Ancelotti.
Ancelotti has an emotional bond and a high passion for Milan. Because, he spent most of his playing and managerial career with the Red-Black team.
Seeing his former team lead the top of the Italian League standings after smothering SS Lazio through a dramatic goal. Ancelotti hopes, Stefano Pioli's squad can break the title fast for 11 years.
The last time Milan won the Italian Serie A was in the 2010/2011 season. At that time Milan was being handled by coach Massimiliano Allegri.
"Of course, I wish Milan to win!" said Don Carletto.
Ancelotti won 15 titles as a player and coach of Milan, including three Scudetti, as well as four Champions League titles.
Until the 34th giornata, Milan is currently in first place in the Italian League standings with a collection of 74 points, two points above city rivals Inter Milan, who has only played one game less.
The Italian League competition leaves four more matches and Zlatan Ibrahimovic Cs will face Fiorentina, Hellas Verona, Atalanta, and Sassuolo.
