MILAN - Fikayo Tomori is starting a new step in his career. He just left Chelsea and headed for AC Milan. Tomori understands the history of the Rossoneri, a club that has won in all competitions.

As a defender, Tomori has known many influential figures at Milan's back line in the past. Some of them have the status of the living legend Il Diavolo Rosso.

"Many great defenders have played for Milan. Like Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Nesta, and Franco Baresi. I want to be a part of Milan's history," said the 23-year-old footballer, quoted by Football Italia , Friday (29/1).

Tomori felt that he had made the right decision. He is ready to participate in the success of the Rossoneri squad going forward.

Tomori has already made his debut at his new club. The Blues academy graduate appeared at the Derby della Madonnina in the Coppa Italia.

He replaced Simon Kjaer, when his team responded to Inter Milan's toughness at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, Wednesday (27/1) in the morning WIB. Tomori looks impressive. Unfortunately, his team lost. Milan defeated 1-2 from Inter, and failed to qualify for the semifinals.
