BANDUNG -- PSM Makassar needs one more point to stay in Liga 1 next season. For this reason, PSM is aiming for victory from Persiraja Banda Aceh in the match which will take place at Kompyang Sujana Stadium, Denpasar, Friday (25/3/2022).

PSM coach Joop Gall said he would focus on his own team. He did not want to see the results of the matches of the other three relegation candidates, namely PSS Sleman, Barito Putera, and Persipura Jayapura who played on Friday (25/3/2022).

"We will focus on tomorrow's game, even if the other team's results end well, we have to respect them and we have to win the game to stay in this league," said Joop Gall in a press conference ahead of the match, Thursday (24/3/2022) .

Previously, PSM had to lose to Persija Jakarta which made the team need one more point to survive in the league. Joop Gall has also given an evaluation to the team and hopes the team can play better tomorrow.

"We have learned from the previous game, what we have to do to win the game," said Joop.

Joop Gall asked his team not to underestimate Persiraja, who had already been relegated this season. For this Dutch coach, anything can happen if PSM cannot anticipate Persiraja.

"They already know their situation and they don't have any pressure because their focus has shifted to playing in Liga 2 for the season so that they can come back here, for that we have to win games to be safe (in the league) without underestimating them," he said. Joop Gall.
