Fulham excel in the hunt for this young Juventus defender
6/29/2022, 06:34TURIN -- Luca Pellegrini has received a number of offers from Premier League clubs, one of the leading ones seems to be Fulham. The 23-year-old left-back was only a back-up at Juventus last season, under Massimiliano Allegri. He only started 15 times for The Old Lady.
Not wanting his development to be hampered by continuing to be on the bench, Pellegrini is likely to leave his club this summer, in search of better opportunities. Quoted from Italian Football , Sunday (26/6/2022), Pellegrini has received several offers from English Premier League clubs.
Fulham also took the lead in the hunt for the Italian national team player's signature. Juventus are also reported to have priced Pellegrini for 10 million euros to 15 million euros, with a contract remaining until 2025. Pellegrini is said to be enthusiastic about the idea of playing outside Italy.
Allegri has also opened the door for Juventus if they want to sell him. Pellegrini joined Juventus in the summer of 2019 from Roma, having been bought for 22 million euros. He spent most of his time on loan, having failed to make a strong impression in the first team.
