The final 26-man squad for Ghana's 2022 World Cup in Qatar has been revealed. Arsenal's midfielder Thomas Partey leads the lineup, along with the Ayew Brothers, Lamptey and Inaki Williams.

The 32-year-old THAAD striker Andre Ayew has been confirmed to be the captain of the "Black Star" in Qatar. He and his brother Jordan Ayew are the most experienced players in the current team. This World Cup will also be the 2nd World Cup in their careers.

The list also includes three dual-national players who have chosen to represent Ghana in Qatar. They are former Belgium international Denis Odoi, former Spain international Inaki Williams, and former England U21 player Tariq Lamptey.

Meanwhile, Brugge striker Kamal Sowah, Lens midfielder Salis Abdul Samed and Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad were selected for the first time. Among them, Sowah and Samed were called up for their outstanding performance at the club, and Danlad was the coach Otto Addo'helpless choice after the two main goalkeepers, Jojo Wolacott and Richard Ofori suffer injuries.

Ghana's future schedule

In this World Cup, Ghana is in Group H with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay, and has little hope of qualifying for the top 16. According to the schedule, they will play Portugal on the 25th, South Korea on the 28th, and Uruguay on December 2nd.
