JAKARTA -- Real Madrid's young midfielder Takefusa Kubo has become the target of many clubs after performing brilliantly with the Japanese national team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Quoted from Football-espana , Saturday (7/8), Kubo managed to bring Japan to the Olympic semifinals.

His brilliant appearance made many clubs interested in borrowing Kubo from Real Madrid in the transfer market this summer. Spanish La Liga club Real Sociedad have reportedly shown interest in signing Kubo on loan this season.

Apart from Real Sociedad, a promoted club in La Liga, Mallorca, also showed interest in borrowing Kubo from Real Madrid.

Apart from Spanish clubs, several teams from the German Bundesliga have also expressed interest in borrowing Kubo this season.

Furthermore, Kubo is planned to rejoin Real Madrid in pre-season after the obligation to defend Japan at the Olympics is over. Kubo still has the desire to stay at Real Madrid, but it looks like he will again be loaned to another club this season to be able to get more playing time.
