BANDUNG - Management and trainers of Persib Bandung held a closed meeting at Graha Persib, Jalan Sulanjana, Bandung City, Wednesday (17/3). In this meeting Persib discussed the team's planned departure to Sleman.

Persib is in Group D in the Menpora Cup 2021. Together with Bali United, Persita Tangerang and Persiraja Banda Aceh, Persib will play at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman starting March 24.

"This meeting is to plan our departure for Monday (next week) to Yogyakarta, because this will be an important long journey," said Persib Bandung coach, Robert Rene Alberts at Graha Persib, Jalan Sulanjana, Bandung City, Wednesday (17/3) .

Robert stated, Persib does not want to be disturbed by the trip. Including the risk of being in a public rest area that could interfere with the safety of players.

"We prepare the food to be brought, what time we go and what time we will arrive in Yogyakarta, prepare the equipment to be brought because we want everything to be safe," said Robert.

Even on his way, Robert decided not to bring all the players and team officials. He said the departure was limited to 30 people.

"We are arranging the ranks of the teams and players who live in Bandung because we cannot bring all of them. Registration is also not ready at this time. So we will prepare the equipment to be brought in and left behind so that players in Bandung continue to train," said Robert.
