"I won't go back again" - Italian coach Prandelli announced his retirement


Two years after leaving Fiorentina, the Italian coach Cesare Prandelli's coaching career has officially come to an end.


"My passion for football has always been strong, but I don't miss the coaching seat. I won't be going back," Prandelli confirmed to Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday.


He then added: "When I left I was only anxious and lonely because the stadium was closed due to the new crown pneumonia, but I didn't feel depressed. Quitting football has helped me a lot. I feel better now. I am looking for Back to the fun of normal life. Thank Fiorentina for understanding me."


Prandelli finally stated that he has no intention of continuing to coach, but he can "consider returning to football in a different capacity."


Cesare Prandelli was born in Orzinovi on August 19, 1957. He played for Cremona, Atlanta and Juventus in his player era. In July 1990, Prandelli began to take on the coaching position in Atlanta U19, and then moved to Lecce, Verona, Venice, Parma, Rome, Fiorentina, Italy, Galatasaray, Valencia, Al -Nasr SC coached with Genoa.
