JAKARTA -- The Indonesian U-23 National Team underwent a medical examination at the PSSI Medical Center, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/4/2022). On this occasion, all players were checked for InBody tests by the PSSI medical team led by doctor Syarif Alwi.

Currently, Garuda Muda is undergoing a training camp (TC) in Jakarta. Rachmat Irianto and his friends will leave for South Korea (South Korea) on Friday (15/4/2022) to prepare for the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam in early May 2022.

"Thank God, after the U-16 team, this time it was the U-23 team's turn to undergo a health check at the PSSI medical center. All players were checked for their body condition through the InBody test. Tomorrow they will undergo a PCR test as a flight requirement before leaving for South Korea," said PSSI Secretary General, Yunus Nusi, quoted from the PSSI page, Wednesday (13/4/2022). "Hopefully the players are always in good health, fit, and always fit for the sake of achieving the best results for the Indonesian national team."

The players underwent the InBody test for approximately 1 hour. After that, they returned to the hotel to rest and prepare for afternoon training at the Madya Stadium, Jakarta.

At the 2021 SEA Games, Indonesia is part of Group A with the hosts Vietnam, Myanmar, the Philippines and Timor Leste. Garuda Muda's inaugural match will be against the host Vietnam on May 6, 2022.

On the other hand, the Indonesian U-19 national team closed the training camp in South Korea by conducting a final test against Yeungnam University. The U-19 national team had to admit a 1-3 defeat in the match which took place at Riverside Soccer Field, Wednesday (13/4/2022).

This is the second time Marselino Ferdinand, et al against Yeungnam. Previously, the U-19 national team lost 1-5. However, according to the head coach of the U-19 national team, Shin Tae-yong, his team has grown, at least better and has not lost more than the score in the previous match.

"In terms of the score, we lost 1-3. But overall the match was very good, and the tempo was also getting faster, I am very happy that there was a significant development from the players," Shin said after the match was quoted from PSSI's official website.
