Juventus could be Barcelona and Atletico Madrid's solution to sell players
2022-08-02 04:01TURIN -- Juventus are interested in adding another striker as an alternative to Dusan Vlahovic. Two Premier League strikers, Chelsea's Timo Werner and Liverpool's Roberto Firmino, are being considered by Juventus.
Even though both of them are highly paid, there is a possibility that the Bianconeri will get them at a low price. Juventus can also take advantage of the situation of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid who want to improve their squad before the transfer window closes this summer. The two giant clubs continue to try to sell their players.
Alvaro Morata is the player Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri really wants. Morata returned to Atletico Madrid after his loan spell in Turin ended.
Allegri has also urged the club to keep Morata. Allegri is a huge admirer of the Spain international. Negotiations are reportedly ongoing but no progress has been made.
Barcelona hopes to sell Memphis Depay. Other clubs would be able to bring in Depay for 20 million euros. And a move to Juventus is probably the best path for Depay. Reporting from Football Espana , Wednesday (27/7/2022), Barcelona and Atletico hope to get luck from the sale of their players.
The reason is the sale will help the club maneuver about the salary limit imposed by Spanish La Liga. In addition, these clubs can also condition the plan in the rest of the transfer market this summer.
The Old Lady have so far brought back Paul Pogba. Then there is Angel Di Maria.
Barcelona have signed Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Andreas Christensen. But Barca failed to sell a few players to balance the books. Frenkie de Jong, who has been linked with Manchester United, has yet to reach an agreement.
