LONDON - Unpleasant news came from the Chelsea camp ahead of the clash against FC Porto in the 2020/2021 Champions League quarter-final second leg. The reason is, several Blues players were reported to have suffered injuries in the last training session.

At the first meeting Chelsea managed to overthrow Porto with an identical score of 2-0. As a result, the victory was so vital for Thomas Tuchel's squad, the Blues will clearly be free when they host Porto at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, Wednesday (14/4) in the morning WIB.

With positive capital, the Chelsea squad looked excited when they practiced training at Sevilla, early last week. They are also in high confidence after securing full marks when they beat Crystal Palace in the Premier League competition.

However, coach Tuchel is a little worried after Mateo Kovacic picked up an injury during a training session. Losing Kovacic was clearly a blow to the Roman Emperor.

Now quoted by Express , Wednesday (14/4) Tuchel is claimed to be making changes to the line-up of players, with N'Golo Kante predicted to fill the post left by Kovacic in the London Blue midfield.

It is not yet known how bad the injury was to the former Real Madrid player, Kovacic. But for sure he will miss the match later.

Meanwhile, Tuchel will return to carry out a 3-4-2-1 mainstay scheme relying on three equal defenders led by Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, and Antonio Rudiger. Meanwhile, Jorginho's midfield will accompany N'Golo Kante, Ben Chilwell and Hudson-Odoi.
