Life and Death Match, Persiraja Wants to Surprise Persib
4/7/2021, 17:01BANDUNG - Persiraja Banda Aceh will face Persib Bandung at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Friday (2/4) tomorrow. In this match, Persiraja must win in order to qualify for the qualifying round for the Menpora2021 DP Cup. Meanwhile, Persib only needs a draw to qualify.
Private coach Hendri Susilo stated that he had prepared the team as best as possible. According to him, this is a game of life and death for his team.
"I also know, Persib is a big club, I am realistic. But in football anything can happen. Therefore we will do our best to keep up with Persib's game," Hendri said in a press conference ahead of the match on Thursday (1/4).
Hendri claimed to understand the style of Persib players. However, he could not match his team due to the limited number of players. Moreover, the Persiraja squad is now the same when it qualifies for Liga 2 in 2019.
"Another problem, there are also some injured players like Ganjar. But for tactics, I have trained the children, they have been prepared. Hopefully with that tactic, it can provide resistance to Persib," said Hendri.
Hendri admits that there is great motivation for his players to be able to beat Persib. Even with the existing limitations, Hendri believes that anything can happen in a soccer match.
"I explained to the children and I motivated them too, in any sport there is nothing that cannot be beaten. The most important thing is hard work on the field, fighting until the final whistle. The point is we will play all out, if we can. want to give a surprise, "said Hendri.
