Luka Jovic is said to be the first player to be sold by Real Madrid
6/26/2022, 20:37MADRID -- Luka Jovic is reported to be the first player Real Madrid will sell this summer. Fiorentina is said to be ready to accommodate the striker.
Marcelo, Isco and Gareth Bale have said goodbye, and Jovic will be the next player to end a career at Madrid.
Quoted from Marca , Wednesday (22/6/2022), the Serbia international is one of a number of players that Los Blancos want to release. In the list that has been made, Jovic looks to be the easiest to sell.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina are looking for a replacement for striker Dusan Vlahovic who was sold to Juventus. La Viola did bring in Brazilian player Arthur Cabral in the January 2022 transfer market. But the former Basel striker has scored just two goals in Italy's Serie A in half a season.
Fiorentina has experience in doing business with Real Madrid. Alvaro Odriozola spent last season on loan at the club from Los Merengues.
Relations between the two clubs are going well and both parties want to finalize an agreement as soon as possible. However, a potential stumbling block that could hinder these negotiations is the transfer structure.
Real Madrid were cool to cut losses and sell Jovic quickly. While Fiorentina want to borrow it first and not have to pay the entire salary of the player. If Los Blancos agree to loan Jovic, then the mandatory purchase option will not be a tough debate.
