Manchester City Want To Take Victor Chust From Real Madrid
3/29/2022, 09:42MANCHESTER -- Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Victor Chust from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. According to Spanish media reports, Defansa Central, reported by thehardtackle , Sunday (27/3/2022), Chust caught the attention of City. But at the same time, Madrid still made Chust as a substitute for Jesus Vallejo.
Chust spent his early youth career with Valencia before joining Madrid in July 2012. But since completing his football education in Madrid, the 22-year-old has struggled to find a place in the first team. He only made three appearances in the senior team.
Chust then joined Cadiz on a season-long loan last summer and has been a mainstay of Cadiz's defensive line. He has made 23 appearances in all competitions for Cadiz. His performance was impressive enough to make Madrid interested in pushing into the first team.
City's interest in Chust is considered quite surprising considering that Pep Guardiola has four top centre-backs. Maybe this is in anticipation of John Stones leaving who is now being linked with Newcastle United. City are also eyeing central defender Gleison Bremer.
Chust wants to stay at Madrid and build his career at the Santiago Bernabeu. He does not want to blindly make decisions about his career. He will look at Madrid's plans for the 2022/2023 season. The competition for Chust between City and Madrid is likely to be tight. The two teams have even been scrambling for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
