MADRID -- Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier is reportedly still a Manchester United transfer target, quoting Sportsmole , Monday (16/8).

The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window as the Red Devils are thought to be still interested in signing another full-back before the end of the month.

Trippier's existing deal at the Wanda Metropolitano is due to expire in June 2023, but Atletico are believed to have valued the England international at £30m, which is unlikely to see him return to the Premier League.

The right-back has impressed since moving to Spain, and he came on as a second-half substitute in Atletico's 2-1 win over Celta Vigo on the opening weekend of the new La Liga season.
