JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali will hold a virtual meeting with PSSI, PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), the owners of Liga 1 and 2 clubs and supporter leaders on Thursday (18/2).

"This is a gathering of national football stakeholders. The event starts at 14.00 WIB," said Zainudin via short message to Antara in Jakarta, Wednesday (17/2).

The Menpora said that one of the main topics of discussion was the implementation of the COVID-19 prevention health protocol.

This is considered important because the rate of increase in COVID-19 patients in the country has not been controlled.

"In addition to the gathering, there will be the delivery of PTLIB plans regarding the preparation of the pre-season tournament and League 1 and League 2 competitions and strict application of health protocols," said the Menpora.
