Milan announce Giorgio Forlani as club CEO, replacing Gazidis

The Milan club officially announced that Giorgio Forlani will be the club's CEO , replacing Gazidis , who will step down on December 5.

Giorgio Forlani was born in Milan and is a Milan fan. He has joined the Milan club's board of directors since 2018 and played a key role during the Elliott Group's management of Milan.

Giorgio Forlani first thanked Cardinale and the Redbirds, who gave Giorgio Forlani the honour of leading his beloved club to a new stage. He is enthusiastic and looks forward to the prospect of working with President Scaloni, Maldini, Coach Pioli and the entire management of the club. He believes they will achieve new ambitious goals together on and off the pitch in the years to come.

Jerry Cardinale , the founder of the Red Bird Group and the new owner of the Milan Club , said that when the Red Bird Group took control of the Milan Club, they had already stated that they would bring their successful experience in sports, media and entertainment to the club and bring Milan back to the club. The position he should be in is the pinnacle of European football.

Jerry Cardinale said that Giorgio is their ideal CEO candidate, and that Giorgio can work closely with the Redbird Group to turn the ideal into reality. Giorgio knows Milan and the city, and it is even more important that he has earned everyone's respect and trust at Milan over the past four years. Georgiou can better transition into new management roles and keep their focus on challenging goals ahead.

Their aspirations for the next chapter in Milan's history are clear, and the Redbirds will work closely with Giorgio and all Milan's management to achieve this.
