Mourinho: I think if I go back to Milan, I'll never leave

Roma coach Jose Mourinho mentioned his memories of Serie A in an interview recently.

Regarding the UEFA Cup title, Mourinho said it was unforgettable. When he won the Champions League with Inter Milan, he did not go to Milan City. The reason was because he wanted to go to Real Madrid and he felt that if he went back to Inter, he would never leave.

This time is different, he wants to stay in Roma and continue to coach at this club. Mourinho said: "In moments like these, you realise that you are not winning for yourself, it is not a personal joy."

Mourinho also said that Serie A went through a difficult period after he left ten years ago, but not because she left. At that time, the level of Serie A was declining and foreign players were hardly attractive, but now he has found an exciting and very competitive league with players from the Premier League.

"Compared to the 2009/10 season, the Serie A giants are still far from the top teams, but the other teams today are stronger than they were in the past. There are many coaches with ideas in Serie A who lead their teams to play offensive football. There are teams like Roma that are growing in a broader sense and more and more fans are being brought to the stadium with great potential."
