MILAN -- AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho has asked the Giallorossi fans to stop chanting hymns against Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the clash against AC Milan. The two teams met in the 20th week of Serie ALiga Italia 2021/2022 at the San Siro Stadium, Milan, Friday (7/1/2022) early morning WIB.

However, a less than commendable incident was presented a few minutes before the Rossoneri's third goal. Milan striker who had only played in the second half, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, received crooked chants and cheers from the visitors' supporters.

Reported by Football Italia, the singing came from the direction of the Rome spectator stands. Coach Jose Mourinho immediately asked the tifosi i Lupi to stop chanting the song.

Mourinho coached Ibrahimovic at Inter Milan from 2008 to 2009. But the striker left the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2009, joining Barcelona in a swap deal with Samuel Eto'o.

The Swedish striker returned to Milan for a second spell in January 2020. He has scored seven goals in 15 appearances across all competitions this season with the Serie A giants.

The match between the two teams was won by Milan with a score of 3-1 through goals from Olivier Giroud, Junior Messias, and Rafael Leao. Ibra also has the opportunity to register his name on the scoreboard if his penalty execution is not thwarted by Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio. Roma lost two players due to red cards in this match.
