The Bucks ' Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. In this game, Holiday scored the most points with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The other three teammates also scored in double figures, Portis had 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, Beauchamp had 14 points and 5 rebounds and Allen had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.


The Timberwolves scored the most points was Edwards, who had 24 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Only two teammates scored in double figures, Towns with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists, and Norwell with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.


At the beginning of the first quarter, both the Bucks and the Timberwolves scored, but the Bucks' players were more in shape, leading the Timberwolves by 13 points at one point. Towns scored 7 points in a row, and then narrowed the gap to 8 points behind the Bucks 26-34.
