JAKARTA - The Netherlands has risen from the stifling defeat against Turkey in Group G of the 2022 World Cup qualification in the European zone. Oranje got the perfect points after beating Latvia 2-0 at the Amsterdam Arena, Sunday (28/3) early morning WIB.

The Netherlands' opener was born in the first half through Steven Berghuis. Luuk de Jong increased the advantage in the second half.

The Netherlands temporarily moved up to third in Group G with a value of three. Memphis Depay et al superior goal productivity from Norway in fourth position.

Since entering the early minutes of Memphis Depay and his friends, they immediately stepped on the gas. Several chances were created but the strength of the Latvian defense frustrated the Dutch front.

The hosts were able to break eggs in the 34th minute after Steven Berghuis was able to score a goal by converting a pass from Davy Klaassen.

Winning 1-0 made De Oranje more confident in building attacks. However, until the referee blew the final whistle the first half the score did not change.

After the break, Latvia tried to make a number of changes in order to increase the power of the bang. Entering the 50th minute the game got even hotter after a number of violations that made the referee issue a yellow card.

The Dutch were finally able to double their advantage in the 69th minute. Luuk de Jong got his name on the scoreboard after converting a pass from Memphis Depay.

Depay failed to maximize the opportunities obtained. In the 83rd minute, the ball from Latvian goalkeeper Ozols is saved. Until the second half ended, the score 2-0 for the Dutch national team victory over Latvia remained.
