LONDON - The new Tottenham coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, has yet to hold talks with Harry Kane, after the striker missed the pre-season game against Chelsea on Thursday (5/8) early this morning. In addition to being absent from the test match against Chelsea, Kane also did not attend a training session with the entire Tottenham squad in the middle of this week.

"I'm really looking forward to talking to Kane. I haven't had the chance to do that yet," said Nuno Espirito Santo, quoted by BBC Sports , Thursday (5/8).

Kane actually really wanted to leave Tottenham, especially Manchester City were ready to accommodate him, but all of that was thwarted by the club.

Tottenham apparently did not want to let Kane go. As a result, the offer from Man City was flatly rejected by the Lilywhites, the nickname of the Spurs, even though the club nicknamed the Citizens was willing to spend 100 million pounds.

For this reason, Nuno Espirito hopes to discuss this with the player directly to avoid public arguments regarding the rumors of the Kane and Tottenham situation.

"I will not talk to you about Kane. Everything related to Harry Kane is internal. First of all we have to solve the problem ourselves," continued the Portuguese coach.

Kane reportedly wants to leave Tottenham because he wants to move to a team that has a greater chance of becoming champions. At the age of 28, Kane seems to want to experience lifting the championship trophy.
