Official: Borussia Mönchengladbach extend Jan Olschowsky's contract until

Borussia Mönchengladbach reached a contract extension on Tuesday with German substitute goalkeeper Jan Olschowsky, whose current contract expires this summer.

According to the official statement, Jan Olschowsky's contract period will be extended until June 30, 2027.

"We must continue to work hard to achieve our common goals in the years to come," Olschowsky said via Instagram.

"Thank you very much for the support of each of you, and thank the management and responsible persons for their trust."

Jan Olschowsky was born in 2001 and was recruited into the Menxing team for training when he was less than 9 years old. His career debut began on August 11, 2022, in the 14th round of the Bundesliga against Bochum.

So far, Olschowsky Olschowski has only played 2 times in total, and has no record of zero opponents.

Borussia Mönchengladbach have high hopes for Olschowsky. Sporting director Roland Virkus told state media, "Jan has been with us since the U9s. In the first half of the season, he fulfilled the dreams of many young players - making his Bundesliga debut."

"Whether in training or in competition, he has proven himself at the highest level to be a real talent and we can rely entirely on him. We are confident that he will develop with us in the best possible way."
