OFFICIAL: Celtic midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi joins Avispa Fukuoka on season-long loan

Japanese international Yosuke Ideguchi left the Celtics on loan and joined Avispa Fukuoka on the 7th of this month for one season.

"I will give my best and be determined to fight for the club," Yosuke Ideguchi told Avispa Fukuoka after his transfer. "I look forward to working with you this season," he added.

The 26-year-old Yosuke Ideguchi is a midfielder and made his debut with Gamba Osaka in 2014. In January 2018, Yosuke Ideguchi joined Leeds United from the J-League and returned to Gamba Osaka the following year.

On January 1, 2022, Yosuke Ideguchi joined the Celtics for 760,000 euros, but was absent many times due to injuries. So far, he has only played a total of 6 times with the Celtics, without scoring or assisting.
