Paris Saint-Germain announced on its official website on Thursday that the team's France international forward Kylian Mbappé will be out for at least three weeks due to a biceps femoris injury in his left thigh.


Mbappé was brought down by the opponent's defensive midfielder Léo Leroy in the 21st minute of Paris Saint-Germain's 3-1 win over Montpellier at the Stade de Moissan in Ligue 1 on Wednesday where he unfortunately injured his left thigh and was replaced by Hugo Ekitike.


Afterwards, Le Parisiens performed an assessement on Mbappé's injury. Now, after the team doctors have seen the scans and evaluation report, it was confirmed that the French star has injured his biceps femoris in his left thigh and unfortunately will be ruled out for 3 weeks.


At the same time, Paris Saint-Germain also revealed in the same official statement that the team's Spain international center-bacl Sergio Ramos will also undergo more scans and evaluations for his injury in the near future.


With Mbappé confirmed to be ruled out due to injury, this also means that he will not be able to represent the club on this coming Valentine's Day, on February 14th, where the club will play against Bayern Munich in the first-leg of the round of 16 knockout stage of the Champions League.
