JAKARTA -- Persib Bandung plans to again boost its players to train together on Monday (27/12) after getting the opportunity to take the 2021 Christmas holiday. The training session is also a preparation for the second week of the Blue Prince squad before undergoing the fourth series of Liga 1 2021/2022 in Bali. early 2022.


Persib Bandung coach Robert Rene Alberts hopes that his team's physical condition will be maintained even though there are no joint activities. During the holidays, he said, players can do many programs to maintain fitness independently. It was not much different from the previous holiday.


Robert hopes that all players will remain at a reasonable level so that they can easily follow all the training menus given.

"We hope they have a level of conditions that we can accept," the Dutchman said.

In the first week, the coaching team will focus more on touching the ball because one week we don't train together. Like the previous week, when Maung Bandung was still doing training in the field and fitness center, the players in the first training also only underwent strength training at the fitness center.

"We will re-join it with the gym because we need to build strength and power players back," explained Robert.

Persib is currently in second place in the 2021 Liga 1 standings until week 17 with a collection of 34 points or trailing Bhayangkara FC at the top of the standings with 37 points.
