SOLO -- Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali said that preparations for hosting the ASEAN Para Games (APG) XI 2022 in Solo, Central Java Province, had already been underway. "I have received a report from the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, as the person in charge of the implementation of APG XI and confirmation from the Regional Secretary of the Central Java Provincial Government on behalf of the Governor of full commitment to providing support for the implementation of APG XI in Solo," said the Menpora after the 2022 APG Implementation Coordination Meeting, in Solo, Sunday (19/6/2022) evening WIB.

In addition, reports from the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Indonesia and from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, can conclude that preparations are already underway. "God willing, it is hoped that the organizers will be successful, successful in achievement, and successful in administration because the Mayor of Surakarta has said that he will finish this work as well as possible and no problems will arise later in the day," said the Minister of Youth and Sports.
