11/21/2021, 04:40MADRID -- Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is reported to want to leave his current club and join the wealthy French Ligue 1 team, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Benzema runs out of contract with Madrid in the summer of 2023, where the player will enter the age of 35 as a professional footballer.
According to El Nacional reported by Sportsmole , Wednesday (10/11) the former Olympique Lyon player has no intention of staying at the Santiago Bernabeu and plans to join PSG on a free transfer when his contract expires in the next two years.
Meanwhile PSG opened the door for the player to return to French Ligue 1, by being willing to give a contract before Benzema hung up his boots.
Benzema had scored 66 goals in 148 appearances for Lyon before moving to Real Madrid, where he has won four Champions Leagues and three La Liga crowns in 12 brilliant years.
Benzema has been in sensational form this season scoring 14 goals and eight assists in 15 games across all tournaments, but he is allegedly disappointed by his team's interest in signing Erling Braut Haaland as the club's future striker.
