MANCHESTER -- Manchester United (MU) winger , Jadon Sancho, can't wait for Marcus Rashford to return to the Red Devils squad.

Manchester United's newest recruit was also very enthusiastic about the possibility of collaboration between him, Rashford, and Mason Greenwood on the field.

Sancho and Rashford have shared the field in the England senior national team. Rashford, who is two years older than Sancho, has played for England first, since making his debut in 2016.

Meanwhile, Sancho was only trusted to strengthen the England senior national team in 2018. Finally, both of them were included in the Three Lions squad at the Euro 2020 stage.

However, at club level, Sancho and Rashford have never played together. Still undergoing recovery after shoulder surgery, Rashford is still absent from the MU squad.

The MU academy dropout is expected to be able to re-strengthen his team in October. The return of Rashford to Manchester United was apparently being awaited by Sancho.

Not only that, the former Borussia Dortmund winger is also looking forward to the opportunity to play with Greenwood and Rashford. This season, Greenwood appeared so impressive.

The 19-year-old striker has never missed contributing goals in United's first three matches in the English Premier League stage. "It will be a great relationship and understanding of the game when Marcus (Rashford) returns to this team."

"Of course, I saw a bit of Greenwood's ability, both in training and in games. He is absolutely incredible,'' Sancho said as quoted by Sportsmole, Thursday (9/9).

Even so, Sancho admits, whether he, Greenwood, or Rashford of course still need a little time to be able to improve understanding of the game on the field.

However, the Manchester City academy dropout is optimistic that the understanding between him, Rashford and Greenwood on the pitch will make a big contribution to Manchester United.

''We still have to know each other's games, such as the tendency of the direction of movement and so on. However, it would be very crazy and extraordinary if the three of us were on the same pitch,''said the 21-year-old winger.

Signed from Dortmund with a reported transfer value of 85 million euros, Sancho just made his debut as a starter with MU when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team beat Wolverhampton Wanderers, 1-0, two weeks ago. In United's two previous matches, Sancho appeared as a substitute.
