BANDUNG -- Persib Bandung is preparing to face the BRI Liga 12021/2022 competition. According to the schedule, Persib will meet Barito Putera, Persita Tangerang, Bali United, Borneo FC, Tira Persikabo, and PSM Makassar, in the first series.

Commissioner of PT Persib Bandung with dignity, Umuh Muchtar, admitted that the management targets Persib to win in the first three matches. Management wants Persib to follow the results of the 2020 season when they became the only team to win in the first three matches.

"The target for these three games is to win. We need a win to grow the team," said Umuh, Monday (30/8).

Umuh admits Persibdi's target this season is to win the championship. He is optimistic that he can achieve that target considering the already good team composition.

"If we win this year, next year we will still (target) win again. But if we lose, God won't allow it, we can't. So we need Allah's pleasure.

Umuh also confirmed Persib will soon release a squad to compete in the league. He made sure there were no new players when it was released later.

"Maybe it's simple and mediocre first, because we have to respect each other, don't stand out too much. For (surprise) players don't exist, naturalization is four, foreigners are four, more than enough," explained Umuh.

As a final preparation, Umuh invited the Persib squad to eat together at one of his restaurants in Tanjungsari, Sumedang Regency, Monday (30/8). He admits the opportunity is like a parent giving advice to his child. "We remain united and sustainable, there is still unity in Persib, everyone has understood what I have said."
